Farnham’s Furniture going out of business after 32 years
Owner to retire after total liquidation and sale of building
CASPER, Wyo. (August 28, 2025) — Farnham’s Furniture will close its doors permanently after providing Casper and surrounding communities with quality home furnishings for three decades. The independent furniture retailer opens its final sale to the public August 28.
Founded in 1993 by Chaz Farnham, Farnham’s Furniture began as a 10,000-square-foot store with just a handful of product lines. Guided by Farnham and longtime manager Chad Bergman, the business soon doubled in size and expanded its offerings, evolving into a one-stop destination for whole-home furnishings. In 2006, Farnham’s Furniture opened a 50,000-square-foot showroom on CY Avenue, earning a loyal customer base through its extensive selection, thoughtfully designed displays, and exceptional service. Bergman purchased the business from Farnham in 2021 and now plans to retire upon the closure of the store.
“It has been an honor to serve our community and grow with it,” said Bergman. “I’m grateful for our loyal customers and dedicated employees who have made Farnham’s Furniture what it is today.”
